iBooks

I think I uses my iBooks app more for me than I would for my classroom and students.  I've found some very valuable resources for teaching art.
I don't think that, in an art classroom, my students would benefit from using an app like iBooks.  Except if I used it as a way to collect & organize books I made myself that specifically pertain to what they are learning.  In my classroom, the kinds of books that students use most often are drawing books, and while I haven't taken the opportunity to search as to weather drawing books are available as ePub documents or ebooks, I don't really think it would work as well as having the actual drawing boom in front of you.
I do like the way that you can make annotations in an ePub document or an iBook.  I think that if instructed how to use this, students would find recording notes and highlighting text would be a helpful skill to have.
